Michelle Harle & Katie Crosbie Dawson, launched the company in October 2025!

They are old friends and having met up at the races of all places, and realised they were both at a cross roads and not really sure which way to go! 

The Matchbox Maker was born! Katie’s experience from her time working in the gift industry and Michelle’s expertise in bespoke luxury, they set out to create a beautiful range of luxury matchboxes that had all started with a tiny spark from which they hope great flames will grow.
