The colour term 'Old Rose' originated during the Victorian era; one of the lighter tones of the ‘famille Rose’ found in Chinese porcelain, making its first appearance at the beginning of the 19th Century and thereafter becoming a characteristic colour.
British Colour Standard's small candleholder fits standard sized dinner or taper candles, and features a black pad on the underneath of the candlestick base protects table surfaces.

Handmade in India from waste wooden offcuts, that would otherwise have been chipped or burnt. Boxed in a simple, easily recycled Kraft card box.
