To celebrate a decade of HADES, the Bonjour Tristesse knit by HADES in navy & ecru is back!  And after 10 years, HADES are proud to still be working with the very same makers who crafted their first-ever knitwear collection in Hawick, Scotland.

Featuring the words Bonjour Tristesse - French for “Hello, Sadness” - knitted across the front, these pieces are hand-crafted in Scotland from pure merino wool offering a lightweight and breathable layer. 

Hades pride themselves on creating knitwear that you will cherish for years.  

Hades aim to use mostly natural fibres, which reduce damage to our planet.  Any cotton used is natural, ethically sourced, and completely biodegradable.

Why wool?
The quality of your knitted garment begins first and foremost with the yarn.  A crucial component of a garment is always its fabric, cloth determines the life of a garment.

Wool is an amazingly clever material; naturally breathable, odour resistant, 100% biodegradable and renewable.  This means your Hades knit will last longer than most high street synthetic knits and will cause less damage to the environment.
